Safety and Ingredients
What if I get a weird reaction?
Our formula contains a few ingredients your skin might not have seen before, so there’s a small risk of allergy.
If you notice irritation, stop using it right away. A soothing cream can help reduce mild redness, and try not to scratch. Persistent itching or redness means it’s time to check with a doctor. If any ink splashes into your eyes, rinse immediately.
What are the ingredients?
Our super-secret (okay, maybe not) lineup includes:
Acrylates Copolymer, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Genipa Americana Fruit Extract, Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate, Dipropylene Glycol Dibenzoate, Polyvinyl Butyral, Rosin Acrylate, Glycine Soja Oil, Paraffinum Liquidum, CI 42090
Is Tattup cruelty-free?
One hundred percent—no animal testing here.
Is Tattup gluten-free?
Yes, indeed. No gluten in our products.
Are Tattup tattoos safe for kids?
We run safety, children’s or infants’ skin can be extra sensitive. We recommend patch tests for everyone, and generally suggest Tattup for folks 18+.
Is Tattup safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We always advise consulting your healthcare provider first to make sure you’re in the clear.
Do Tattup tattoos expire?
They stay fresh for about 12 months if stored correctly (cool, dry, away from direct sunlight). While our ink is non-toxic, it’s still best to use it before it gets old.
Another note on potential skin reactions
If redness or irritation persists, pause usage immediately. A mild cream might help. Seek medical help for serious or lingering issues. And if any gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly.
